Hello and welcome to everybody. I am here to explore my enthusiasm, learn my interests, work out my willingness, and reflect my desire to you with the little help of ever growing computing technology.

Introduction:

I am from Chitwan, Nepal. I did my S.L.C. exam from Balkumari Secondary School in Narayangadh. I studied civil engineering from Institute of Engineering, Western Region Campus of Pokhara. After completing Diploma, I worked in different places for a couple of years. Trying to do some Basic programming (in year 1995/96), my interest in computing grew while I was working as a land surveyor in the state of Qatar.

Later, I decided to study computing. So far, I have completed higher national diploma in computing and BSC in Applied Computing from Thames Valley University, UK.

At the moment, my interests are in Mobile Web Browsing, Adaptive Techniques, Usability and HCI. Recently I presented my first full paper titled "Mobile Browsing: Usability Study" in Mobility Conference 2007 Singapore. The paper is indexed in ACM digital library.

I also had an opportunity to co-author a paper titled "Improving User experience of Mobile Internet" with Eija Kaasinen (VTT Technical Research Centre), Virpi Roto (Nokia Research Centre), Kristin Roloff (Swisscom Mobile AG), Kaisa Väänänen-Vainio-Mattila & Teija Vainio (Tampere University of Technology), Wolfgang Maehr (Opera Software ASA) and Dhaval Joshi (Motorola India Research Labs) . This paper was a outcome of the Workshop on Mobile Internet User Experience, which was held in conjunction with the 9th International Conference on Human Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services, MobileHCI 2007. I would also like to write a review paper on 'Mobile Usability: The Challenges'.
